Autumn Red

Although not a fall design, these bright colors make me feel autumn-ish.  The design is from a Cross Country Stitching magazine a few years ago.  I really love a lot of  Linda Coleman's designs.  She is so talented!

Most of the time I prefer colors such as mauve and pink, but sometimes a jolt of brilliant red is good for the soul!  I stitched this with DMC threads.

I love that! I've done a ton of Linda Coleman designs over the years. I think I have that one in an old mag (although they do tend to look very similar so I'm not sure). The colors of the alphabet really make this stand out!

LOVE this!! I am also a big Linda Coleman fan. I have quite a collection of her mags. Please tell me which issue this is! Your tote bags are too adorable!! I look forward to seeing the sampler ones.

Joy, it's in one of the special ones that she used to put out once a year. It's in the Folk Art ABC's 2005 issue, right on the cover. I wish she still did those special issues, I miss them. Thank you so much for your lovely compliment on my bags!

Love the red! It's so cheerful and today is so dreary outside. Cute kitty pics -- especially the belly shots.
